Madi + Ethan • Payson Temple Wedding

I recommend to my Bride's to do their Bridals and "First Look" a few weeks before the wedding. This has a few perks and one is you'll have wedding photos to display at your reception! Your guests who couldn't attend your ceremony or the temple will adore seeing beautiful photos of the two of you. It's also one less thing you have to do on your wedding day! Your wedding day is one of the most emotional and beautiful days and you'll want to soak it all in. Enjoy that time with family instead of taking an hour away from those who came to celebrate you. With how much I love first looks and a separate bridal session, I  was thrilled when Madi and Ethan told me that's exactly what they wanted.

Madi and Ethan met me at the Payson Temple a few weeks before their October wedding. They had an adorable first look and I remember Ethan saying, "Aw, Mads! You are gorgeous! Let me see your hair!" Ethan was so happy to see his beautiful bride-to-be and I loved hearing him call her Mads. Nicknames have always held a special place in my heart.

The prettiest decorations, cake, flowers, and lights were throughout the reception including quite a bit of pie! The highlight of the entire Bennett and Klassen Wedding was watching as both Madi and Ethan signed to Madi's neighbor, Frankie. They each took 5 minutes to talk and sign back and forth with Frankie as he went through the reception line. It softened my heart seeing the selflessness these two have and I was honored to capture and attend their beautiful October Wedding. Enjoy a few ( or a bunch ) of my favorites from their Wedding.

Jodi + Jayden • Anniversary

Colorado is seriously one of my favorite places. It's where my mom's family is from and it seems to be a mutual place of meeting. I knew Jacob and I would be traveling there for Thanksgiving, so I started mentioning it to my sister in hopes that she and Jayden would join. And thank goodness they did because it gave us the chance to have one epic anniversary session on the Monument. After shooting Kaden + Keely's Proposal I knew Jodi and Jayden's Anniversary session had to be up there too. Surprisingly it was a chilly night when we shot so I was wrapped up in my dad's coat most the session.

Jodi purchased her dress from a boutique in Utah called Sew Trendy. Jodi said her customer service was AMAZING! She ended up adding some fabric to get the look Jodi wanted and she did it free of charge! And can we talk about how amazing this dress looks on Jodi?! Seriously, she is a model in anything she wears, but this has to be one of my favorite things next to her lace wedding dress.

Anniversary sessions get to me. I love cerebrating love, especially when it has blossomed over the years. And when we're celebrating new life coming, it makes it all that much better. Jodi and Jayden will be giving my side of the family a niece and I cannot express how excited I am! In less than 2 months I will be meeting my new niece. For now, enjoy the best of the best maternity shots of Jodi and Jayden. :)

Wyatt Meng • Rigby Senior

The Meng family is one of those awesome families of all boys. They are some of the craziest and most adventurous guys I've ever met! And I've had the opportunity to photograph Riley's and Krystyn's Engagements and Wedding, Zach's Senior Photos, and now Wyatt's Senior Photos. When I talked to Wyatt about his session, I wanted Maddi there to get those real smiles out of him, and it totally worked!

We started at 7am at the Rigby Football field for some full shots and to get a few up in the stands. It was only 32 degrees with insane wind too. Luckily we moved to downtown Rigby where we were blocked from the cold. Our last spot was up in Kelly Canyon, one of my favorite locations.

The colors in Kelly Canyon were just starting to change which is one of my favorite looks! I love being able to have a summer look in one area with a fall look in another. Enjoy my favorites of this handsome Senior. I'm excited for all that's in store for you, Wyatt!

And here are some of the outtakes from Wyatt's session.
