FAQ
Q: What camera and lens do you use?
A: I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark IV and primarily use my Canon 24-70mm 2.8. What you see on my site is 90% this combo.
Q: What program do you use to edit your images?
A: I solely use Lightroom Classic for all the images I edit. I do NOT use Photoshop.
Q: How did you become a full-time photographer?
A: I spent 4 years doing photography on the side before I went full-time. I worked construction and landscaping in order to save up for the things I wanted. I am a big supporter in following your dreams and passions, but you will still have to put in hard work for them. Doing what you love for a living is HARD, but totally worth it in the end.
Q: What would you say to an aspiring photographer?
A: Be ready to WORK HARD and invest money into your business. Get legal the moment you start accepting money. You can get fined and pay back taxes if you’re not legal! Find a photographer who’s style and talent you love and ask to mentor with them. It’ll be an investment, but one of the best you’ll make! Take yourself seriously. You’re a business, not a hobbyist.

Starting a photography business from scratch can be extremely overwhelming and even scary! Shoot Out $500 (Bring your camera)
Spend an afternoon with me shooting the session of your choice (couple, portrait, or family). I'll find the perfect models for our shoot and you can watch how I interact with clients and bring out real emotions. You can ask any questions while we're shooting and we'll also take a couple minutes to chat after the session. Go home with awesome images to put in your portfolio as well!
