I knew from the minute I met Carissa she was going to be amazing to work with. She had a smile on her face the entire time we talked about Jacob and their July Wedding. And when Carissa mentioned the Wedding being in Driggs, I about died! Photographing a wedding up in Driggs has definitely been on my bucket list and I'm so glad I'll be there for Carissa and Jacob's gorgeous summer wedding. Here's just a few of my favorites from their Engagement session up in Kelly Canyon!
My husband and I went location scouting a few weeks ago. I begged him to take me to all his fishing spots in hopes to find something stunning, and we did! This gorgeous flower field and meadow is only 4 miles from our apartment! That is so much better than the 40 miles it is to Kelly Canyon, (one of my favorite locations here in Southeast Idaho).
Once we found this stunning spot, I needed a Senior to test it out with me. Devyn was happy to! This girl is an adventurer! She was happy to go deep into the trees, get in the water, and dance in front of the camera. Having a carefree attitude can make a world of difference in your photos! It's my job as the photographer to stress and be nervous. It's your job to come and just have fun! Thank you so much Devyn for being my guinea pig. You killed it! :)
Courtney and Ben were married April 9th on a windy afternoon. Darcy Case of Ruby Plum Photo was the head photographer for their beautiful wedding day, but I was able to assist/second shoot for their temple exit and bridals!
Ben had some super awesome Groomsmen! I know how much groomsmen dread photos, but these guys were more than happy to do whatever I asked! Not to mention they kept me laughing the entire time I did the group shots. If you follow me on Snapchat you were able to see a glimpse into the behind the scenes with them. (@jayceephotos)
As I watched these two on their special day, I loved seeing the way Ben looked at Courtney. He was so sincere in all his sweet gestures towards her. I was off in the distance for majority of my shots but the authentic emotion they had for their entire day reminded me how much I enjoy capturing love. Happy Two Month Anniversary (tomorrow) you two! Thanks for letting me be apart of your special day!
