Abbott Wedding • Trouts Ranch

Carissa and Jacob's wedding day was one you'd find in a magazine. We had the Teton Mountains as a backdrop for family and bridal photos, Carissa and Jacob were completely and totally in love and you could see it on their faces, and the entire family was so welcoming of me into their special day I hardly felt like a photographer.

Their ceremony was beautiful. One thing that really stuck out to me was when the Officant had Jacob and Carissa pour two different colors of sand into a bottle to symbolize becoming one as husband and wife. That was the first time I'd seen a Blending of the Sands in a Wedding Ceremony and it was such a great reminder to me even in my own marriage.

In addition to having a gorgeous couple, we had beautiful light! Majority of Carissa and Jacob's wedding took place outside allowing me to get the BEST images! Natural light will trump artificial light always. So their entire day was a dream to shoot. And check out that send off. One of the cutest! :) Congrats Jacob and Carissa! Enjoy the married life! It's the best! :)

Jenna + Kaleb • Rexburg Temple

There is something special about High School Sweethearts. Maybe it's because they know every dream since the very beginning, or that solid foundation of wonderful, and hilarious, memories. Either way, Jenna and Kaleb are the high school sweethearts you dream of being. Kaleb and I had a small chat while we waited for Jenna to come up for the first look. The way he talked about Jenna and their cute apartment, future plans together, and their wedding day reminded me what it's all about.

Loving and continuing to love through it all.

Jenna waited for Kaleb as he served his two year LDS Mission in Chile and that in itself is pretty amazing. I loved following their journey and I'm so excited for what the future holds for these two. Happy Wedding Day Jenna and Kaleb!

Courtney + Ben • Rexburg Temple Wedding

Courtney and Ben were married April 9th on a windy afternoon. Darcy Case of Ruby Plum Photo was the head photographer for their beautiful wedding day, but I was able to assist/second shoot for their temple exit and bridals!

Ben had some super awesome Groomsmen! I know how much groomsmen dread photos, but these guys were more than happy to do whatever I asked! Not to mention they kept me laughing the entire time I did the group shots. If you follow me on Snapchat you were able to see a glimpse into the behind the scenes with them. (@jayceephotos)

As I watched these two on their special day, I loved seeing the way Ben looked at Courtney. He was so sincere in all his sweet gestures towards her. I was off in the distance for majority of my shots but the authentic emotion they had for their entire day reminded me how much I enjoy capturing love. Happy Two Month Anniversary (tomorrow) you two! Thanks for letting me be apart of your special day!
